About Nōwn
Nōwn POS is Lucova's POS solution that puts the focus on the person behind the purchase. We’re out to prove that traditional loyalty programs don’t work and scalable, authentic connections between a business and their customers is the only path to success. We’re taking over the Canadian small business retail quick serve market and we want your help to do it.

About the role
Your focus will be on making phone calls, crafting targeted emails and meeting new prospects "door-to-door" to drive leads and close sales. While doing this, you will also have the opportunity to help the marketing team by testing and informing product messaging. This role is perfect for the person who wants to come in, work hard, explore and then help us carve out a dream role for themselves.

To be successful, you will need to be great at:

  • MEETING people, making new contacts and building relationships
  • EDUCATING business owners about how they can grow their businesses and improve the quality of the services they offer
  • PRESENTING product demonstrations

Although some of the sales process can be carried out remotely, you’re going to be pounding the pavement to meet prospects face-to-face.

Salary: Base + Commission + Experience

Requirements

  • FEARLESS
  • You will need to be comfortable in an early stage startup environment where we move FAST.
  • Be comfortable making phone calls to complete strangers or tap into your network to drum up business. Whatever it takes.
  • Thick skin required - rejection is part of the job.

Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in sales/business development, lead generation, sales, recruiting, starting your own business or a similar function.

Ambitious

  • You are not looking to hang on the bottom rung forever. You are here to set the foundation and then figure out how you’d like to grow your career.
